    At Allison Funeral Service we care about you and your family. Our staff of professional funeral directors have years of experience compassionately caring for families at the most difficult time of their lives. Our goal is to assist the family in their selection of a fitting tribute to their loved one. We offer families the choice of earth burial, cremation, aboveground entombment and other memorial options that meet the family's needs.   • Michael D. Page
    Michael D. Page, Managing Partner

    Michael lives in Liberty with his wife, Amy and his three children, Emily, Ashley, and Michayla. He is on the Board of Directors for the Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce, serves on various committees for the TVE, Liberty Metro Go Texan Committee and is President of Dayton Rotary. Michael is a graduate of Briarwood College and has been in the funeral industry since 1992. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.

  • Jerri Woolls
    Jerri Woolls, Office Coordinator

    Jerri lives in Hardin, Texas with her husband, Rody. They have two children and two grandchildren. Jerri has been a resident of the Liberty area for thirty years. She enjoys her place in the country with the horses, chickens, and cats. She enjoys cooking and entertaining family and friends. Jerri is a member of North Main Baptist Church. Jerri has been with Carriage Services for over nine years, first with Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, and now closer to her home with Allison Funeral Service.

  • Juan Parga
    Juan Parga, Directors Assistant

    Juan Parga has been with Allison Funeral Service for twenty-two years. He lives in Liberty, with his wife Linda. They have four daughters, two sons and two grandson. Juan enjoys working on his home, carpentry, remodeling, and landscaping. He enjoys cooking for and entertaining his family and many friends.

  • Joshua J. McManigal
    Joshua J. McManigal, Funeral Director

    Joshua was born in Wisner, Nebraska and currently resides in Dayton. He attended college at Minnesota State University with a Human Biology background. Joshua then attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston where he received his degree in Mortuary Science. He has worked in other firms in downtown Houston, but prefers a more personal small town community similar to where he grew up.

  • Renee' Gressett
    Renee' Gressett, Ambassador

    A 5th generation Texan, Renee' is the mother of three children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She worked in the banking industry for twenty-two years. Rene is a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of Liberty and active in layministry. She is a "people person", and feels her employment with Allisons is a ministry of its own. She enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, spending time with family and friends; is a sports nut, especially golf, Texas Aggies (Gig Em) and Go Astros.

  • Linda Nolte
    Linda Nolte, Family Services

    Linda has worked for Allison Funeral Service since 1999, serving families in the capacity of Ambassador, Secretary and Preneed Family Service Counselor. She was born in Liberty and raised in Daisetta until she married Richard (Ronnie) Nolte from Devers. Linda graduated from Hull-Daisetta High School and attended Sam Houston State University for three years. Linda lived and worked in Houston for thirty-two years. She was employed with the Special Education Department for Sheldon ISD and retired after twenty-nine years of service. Retirement was not for Linda and that's how she came to be with Allison Funeral Service. It is a wonderful opporunity to serve people in their time of need. Linda and Ronnie have one child, a son, Keith who teaches in Hardin ISD. Her family is very active in the Hardin Baptist Church were she serves on numerous committees.

  • Ronnie Nolte
    Ronnie Nolte, Directors Assistant

    Ronnie lives in Hardin with his wife Linda. They have one son, Keith. He is originally from Devers and graduated from Liberty High School. He has a Masters of Education and is a certified counselor. Ronnie worked as a teacher and as the Special Assignment Counselor for thirty-two years with the Sheldon ISD before retiring in 1998. Ronnie has been with Allison Funeral Service since 1999. He is active in the Hardin Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon. Ronnie is active in the community on many levels and enjoys the opportunity to be available to serve people.

  • Sammy Sackett
    Sammy Sackett, Ambassador

    Sammy has worked for Allison Funeral Home for five and a half years. She lives in Liberty with her husband Ricky. She has two children, Brinda and Ricky Jr., and four grandchildren, Nikki, Jaci, Brianna and Matthew. She is an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dayton where she is the Sunday School Secretary, and she is involved in the women's ministries. Sammy sells Avon, works for Liberty County and the City of Liberty as an election clerk. She enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband and driving snowmobiles, She enjoys entertaining and cooking for her family and friends. Her favorite thing to do is take her family and go on vacation.

  • Sherry Thomas
    Sherry Thomas, Ambassador

    Sherry resides with her husband Harry in the Southern end of Polk County. They have four children, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sherry loves to ride their quarter horses, being outdoors,and hunting. She breeds Beagels and trains them for hunting or as pets. Sherry also raises San Juan Rabbits to help train her dogs. She is an active member of the Living Waters Church in Dolen, Texas and dedicated to her prayer group in Kountze. She finds great reward in working at Allison Funeral Service, bringing comfort to families that are in need.

  • Barbara VanDeventer
    Barbara VanDeventer, Ambassador

    Barbara has been with Allison Funeral Service since 2003. She has three children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Barbara graduated from Dayton High School in 1950. She represented Dayton in the "Miss Texas" pageant in 1951. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1951. She and her late husband owned and operated Van D's Grocery for twenty-one years. Barbara is a licensed Travel Agent, now outside sales for Crosby Travel. She is active in the community as an election judge for Liberty County and for the City of Liberty. She has been involved with Children's Protective Service, Child Death Review Board, Foster Parent, American Cancer Society Board, and our local fair and rodeo, Trinity Valley Exposition. Barbara loves to hunt, travel, play the slot machines and cook.

  • Lawrence  Wagnon
    Lawrence Wagnon, Part-time Funeral Director

    Larry has lives in Liberty with his wife Mary, and is a member of the Liberty Rotary Club, Liberty Lions Club, First United Methodist Church Choir and his very active in the Liberty VFW. He enjoyes spending time with his family and helping others.

  • Darlene Zieschang
    Darlene Zieschang, Ambassador

    Darlene has been a resident of Liberty since 1967, when her husband became Editor and Publisher of the local newspaper, the Liberty Vindicator. She worked with him in that business as bookkeeper for twenty-four years until she retired. Darlene has four children and eleven grandchildren. She is active in the First United Methodist Church of Liberty. She is a member of the choir, and secretary of the Ladies Bible Class. Darlene is active in the community as well. She works part-time for the Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys handwork, working word puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Darlene loves to be with people and helping people, so she considers her job with Allison Funeral Service perfect for her.
