Kimberley Ashton Vann

February 6, 1968 ~ September 21, 2016 (age 48) 48 Years Old
Kimberley Ashton Vann, 48, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016, in Liberty, Texas. She was born February 6, 1968 in Winchester, Massachusetts to Richard Edward Ashton and Diane Silva Ashton. Kim was the third child in a family of five girls. She was a 1986 graduate of Liberty High School, where she excelled in tennis. Kim graduated from Lee College with a degree in Medical Records. She worked many years in the Medical Center in Houston, for Magnolia Place in Liberty, and for the City of Liberty.
Kim was very proud of her boys Christopher and Jonathon Vann.  She was able to see both of them graduate from college and find the love of their lives. Kim was a Christian, and attended Heights Baptist Church at an early age and later joined North Main Baptist Church.  She led her family through her strength and selflessness.  Kim was always thinking of others, caring for her family and putting others first, even during her illness.
Kim was a devoted Astros and Texans fan, and loved being outside. During the cooler months she could be found fishing, hunting, and camping with her husband Randy and her boys. She enjoyed watching her children play sports.  During their high school years you would find her behind home plate taking pictures of her boys. She loved the few years her family lived in New Mexico, spending time in the mountains skiing or riding snowmobiles with her family. Most recently, Kim and her husband were able to venture to Alaska on her dream vacation. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed.
Kim is preceded in death by her father Richard Edward Ashton. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 29 years Randy Vann, her children Chris Vann and his wife Katie Biehunko Vann, Jonathon Vann and Kali Davenport, her mother Diane Ashton, her sisters Victoria Norville and her husband Joseph, Susan Peters and her husband Sam, Cindy Hugaboon, Pamela Bond and her husband Chris, sister in law Norma Herrera, brother in law Riley Vann; nieces and nephews, Sarah Norville, Brianna Peters, Colton Peters, Matthew Hugaboon, Ashton Hugaboon, Kyle Hugaboon,  Cody Bond, Emily Bond, Claire Bond, Melissa and Chris Horn, Eric and Lacie Wisdom, Jennifer Clifton, Tiffany and John Nye and numerous great nieces and nephews.
