Mae Gobert the wife of (Folone Gobert) passed away Tuesday morning March 18, 2014 at the Liberty-Dayton Hospital after a brief illness.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on March 21st with Rev. George Okeahiahialam, M.S.P. and Rev. Sebastian Myladiyil, S.V.D. at Sacred Heart Church, Raywood.  The Rite of Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Raywood.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Allison Funeral Service.
Mae Gobert was born in Texas.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society.  She loved to cook, gardening and dancing to Zydeco and Cajun music.  Mae Gobert is survived by her son, Tommy Gobert and his wife Frances, two daughters, Ella Plummer and husband Earl, Marie Ortiz and husband Julian, a loving sister, Elizabeth Vales, and special friends “Mom and Pop” Gene and Letha Victorian, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Mae will certainly be missed.  She was the wind beneath our wings.
