Carmen Alvarado Villegas

Carmen Alvarado Escobedo Villegas, 59 of Liberty, Texas passed away, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Houston Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 18, 1960 to Miguel Villegas and MaLuz Escobedo in Michoacan, Mexico.

Carmen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a strong woman of faith and instilled those same values in her family. Carmen always lifted everyone up, encouraging them and setting a good example for those around here. She found comfort in the church and loved to pray for others. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, taking care of people but mostly she loved being around her large family. Carmen’s bright smile and tender-heart will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carmen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Rafael Villegas. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of twenty-two years, Juan Alvarado, Sr., sons Juan, Jr. and Vicente Alvarado. In addition she leaves behind, sisters Domitila Villegas, Bertha Villegas, brothers, Salvador, Efrain, Vicente, David, Isidro, Manuel, Martin and Miguel Villegas. She also leaves behind numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5pm – 8pm in the chapel of Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas 77575. Rosary will begin at 7pm. A funeral mass will be held the following day at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church in Liberty. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Liberty Catholic Cemetery.
