James Earl “Jimbo” Worthy, age 60 of Devers, passed away at his residence on February 17, 2017. Jimbo was born March 12, 1956 in Liberty, TX son of the late James Earl Worthy Jr and Jimmie Jo Beaty Worthy. He graduated from Liberty High School and was a ranch hand most of his life. Jimbo was employed by Dr. Henderson and 3H Ranch. He enjoyed hog hunting, cowboying, fishing, and roping. Jimbo also enjoyed watching bull riding, football and cowboy movies. The love of his life were his children and grandchildren. Jimbo was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Mark Worthy and beloved father; Robert Sutherland. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons; Josh Worthy and wife Denise, Robert Worthy and wife Katie, Alfred “Nook” Mouton and wife Kacie, daughter; Hannah Blanchard and husband Tobby, grandchildren; Lily Worthy, Landyn Worthy, Riley Blanchard, Taylor Dugas, Matthew Blanchard, Kynlee Mouton, Brogan Worthy, Landyn Dugas, his special nurse; Tabitha Lawson and host of friends.
