Jonathan Wayne Herring, age 67 of Liberty, passed away December 1, 2017 at his residence.  Jonathan was born May 18, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, son of Jack and Betty Herring.  He graduated from Skiatook High School in 1969 and then went on to obtain his Associates Degree in drafting.  Jonathan was a member of the Osage Nation Indian Tribe in Oklahoma.  He loved to travel on his motorcycle and was a member of the Lone Star Voyagers.  He was a loving son, brother and husband.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father; Jack William Herring and son; Christopher Robinson.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of thirty-eight years; Brenda Herring of Liberty, sisters; Carol Johnson and husband Scott of Skiatook, OK, Joyce Beene and husband Jonathan of Broken Arrow, OK, brother; Jimmy Herring of Skiatook, OK, mother; Betty Herring-Grace of Skiatook, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews.
