Judy Carol Bishop age 68 of Liberty passed away Monday January 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born in Beaumont, Texas November 1, 1949 the daughter of the late J.C. Goodman and Etta Belle Ricks Goodman. Judy enjoyed arts and crafts, scrapbooking, sewing, travelling, and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong and active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked for numerous years in the automotive industry, holding many different positions. Her career included working for Burnham Chevrolet and John Keating.  She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Albert Leon Bishop, brother Christopher Goodman, and a nephew Steven Walter Williams. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons Thomas Nelson Castor and wife Angel of Liberty, Ricky Leon Bishop and wife Emily of Port Lavaca, Christopher Bishop and wife Rebecca of Liberty, sister Renya Williams of Beaumont, and a niece Cassandra Belle Howard and husband Timmy. In addition she leaves fifteen grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service for Judy will be held 2PM Monday February 5, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 15 CR 129, Liberty, Texas. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
