Laura Ruth - I just found out about your Mom yesterday or I would have been at the funeral. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was quite the character and we loved her very much. Both of my parents are gone too. So sad!! Hope you find comfort knowing how loved she was by everybody she touched!

Love,
Debbie

Aunt Laurie was such a sweet lady.
Always happy and caring., always there for everyone and made you feel loved.
I know she and Uncle Bill are having a good time catching up and visiting with everyone up there in Heaven.
She will be greatly missed. I loved her dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you today.

She was in a word, fun. Or maybe the word is beautiful. Or maybe there are too many words for her. I grew up in and out of her house or she was at ours drinking coffee with my mother. Miss Laurie, with her poodles (Laura Ruth's "sisters"), her extravagant Halloween displays and her great big laugh, left quite an impression on all of us. May she be now in peace.

Our Ms Laurie and Mr Billy. It would be tough to find anyone more loving and special than these two. I know they are together and I know there is one heck of a reunion party going on. Until we all meet again....and let's not forget Angie and Sugar Pop and all of the rest.

Aunt Laurie was my daddy's sister. I can sum up Aunt Laurie in two words, fun and laughter. There are so many memories with her and my Uncle Bill that there is not the time or space to tell them all. Anytime you were with her and my uncle there was going to be a lot of laughter and fun for everyone. They were always so willing to share all they had so that everyone could enjoy and have fun. Even though she had many struggles in her latter years, I thought of her just about every day. I am so glad I have the memories and the good times we all had together. Just looking at her picture brings back so many memories. I will always be grateful and thankful for the way Laurie and Uncle Bill loved my mother and help take care of her after my dad (Laurie's brother) passed away. They always included my mom in their lives. I am grateful for there love and care for her. I have the comfort now of knowing she is with her family now and that my grandmother has all her family with her again.
