Nelda Arlene Ballinger, age 67 of Bacliff, TX, passed away February 3, 2017 at her residence.  Nelda was born August 10, 1949 in Liberty, TX, daughter of the late George Henry Meadows and Joy Nell Myrick.  She graduated from Hull-Daisetta High School and worked for Kroger’s in the Deli Department for ten years.  Her grandkids were the love of her life and she enjoyed watching the grandkids in their sports activities.  Nelda was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan.  She will be missed by all.

Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, and brother; George Meadows.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters; Misty Cummings and husband Spencer of Bacliff, TX, Angela Ballinger of Bacliff, TX, sister; Renee McCreight and husband Weldon of Humble, and grandchildren; Chance, Britney and Cheyenne.
