Pamella Kay Smart DeBerry, age 67 of Liberty, passed away January 26, 2018 in Liberty with her loving family by her side.  Pam was born October 30, 1950 in Liberty, TX, daughter of the late E.J. Smart and Sarah Mae Bailey Smart.  Pam graduated from Liberty High School and was the finance manager at B.J. Ford for twenty plus years.  She was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and attended Faith Family in Baytown also.  Pam and her passed husband loved to travel as well as fish.  She loved being outdoors and loved to cook and feed people.  She was a people person and loved everyone that she met.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Martin DeBerry, daughter; Wendy Kay Watts, stepson; Donnie DeBerry, stepdaughter; Carrie Lynn Vantassel Nichols, sister-in-law; Sue Smart.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son; Reggie Threlkeld and wife Laura of LaPorte, TX, sister; Cathy Cannon and husband Jabbo of Liberty, brother; JL Smart and wife Rose Mary of Beaumont, grandchildren; Amanda Kay Melton and husband Michael, Jared Threlkeld and wife Tonya, Lauren Canales and husband Andy, Cody Kokes, Kelsey Kokes, Laikyn Hilborn, Tara Palmer, Chelsea Vantassel Baird, great-grandchildren; Maci, Easton, C.J., Rylie, Kylie, Nicholas, Parker, Ember, Ariel, Bryce and faithful dog; Bud.
