June 18, 1970 ~ April 4, 2024 (age 53) 53 Years Old

Tribute

Stephanie Renee Marshburn Harper, 53, of Dayton, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 18, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, to Joan Marie Ponder Marshburn and the late Tommy Preston Marshburn. Stephanie leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and genuine care.

Stephanie graduated from Liberty High School with the class of 1988 and found her calling in the construction industry, where she excelled in human resources. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her love for yardwork and passion for scratching lottery tickets.

Stephanie cherished her relationships with her friends and family more than her professional pursuits. She was her mother’s lifeline, and their bond was unbreakable. Stephanie’s good-hearted nature endeared her to everyone she met, leaving behind a trail of far and wide friendships.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Preston Marshburn. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her mother, Joan Marshburn, of Dayton; her siblings, Lawrence “Larry” Marshburn and Traci Holcomb, both of Dayton; her niece, Shelbi Nicole Holcomb, who brought immense joy to her life; her nephew, Chase Marshburn; and her great-nephew, Sebastian Hyman, whom she adored beyond measure.

Stephanie’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and friendship will remain a guiding light for those fortunate enough to have known her.
