Aubrey Ronnie Maley – age 77 passed away Thursday October 12, 2017 at Magnolia Nursing Home. Ronnie was born Goose Creek, Texas July 3, 1940 the son of the late Aubrey Maley and Arttie Edmonds Maley. Ronnie was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School class of 1958. After High School Ronnie enlisted in the US Marines until his Honorable Discharge. He went on to work as a pipefitter, mainly for Brown and Root, and was known too other as the “Shut Down Man.” Prior to his retirement he worked as a draftsman for an engineering firm. When Ronnie was working, he was an avid fisherman, enjoying just about anything to do with fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Wayne Maley. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-eight years Mary Maley, and a sister Joyce Naumann. In addition, he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held 3PM Monday October 16, 2017 with visitation from 1-3PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N.
