Carolyn Marie Aulbaugh-Russo

Carolyn Aulbaugh-Russo, aged 81, of Houston, passed away in her home on Sunday, October 27, 2019. She was born November 17, 1937, in Moss Bluff, Chambers County, to William Chancy Carter and Valda Mae Carter. Carolyn loved to read and travel, including living abroad twice during her lifetime. Carolyn’s true passion was being with people. Throughout her life she was a devoted friend and consistently brought new friendships to her circles of friends. A day did not go by where she didn’t contact her friends or speak with her children. Carolyn had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm heart. She was a gracious host and opened her home to many; something that will be missed.

Carolyn is survived by her four children: John Michael Aulbaugh, Martha Lynn Aulbaugh Kahle, Karen Carter Grayson, and Brian David Aulbaugh, step daughter Jamie Barbara Russo, as well as eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10am in the chapel at Allison Funeral Services, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas 77575. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Carolyn’s honor to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
