Dana Kaye Wiggins

Dana Kaye Budro Wiggins- age 57 formally of Liberty passed away in Houston, June 9, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer with her loving family by her side.  Dana was born in Lubbock, Texas on Reese Air Force Base the daughter of Richard Darrell Budro and Joann Noble Budro. She will be remembered for being selfless, loving, generous, and giving.  A homemaker she enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren at “Camp Nana”.  Dana was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1979 and devoted member to First Baptist Church of Huffman. She was active within her church always cooking and serving Wednesday meals for numerous years. She also served on the Huffman ISD School Board and could always be counted on to assist Huffman Little League at the concession stand. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Dana was preceded in death by her mother Joann Noble Budro, brothers William Edward Budro and Darrell Dwayne Budro, as well as her son Wade Wiggins. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of thirty-eight years Jack Wiggins of Tyler, daughter Amanda Smith and husband Jason of Athens, TX., son Jarrod Wiggins and wife Stephanie of Huffman, father Richard Darrell Budro of Liberty, sisters Jana Rives and husband Ernest of Hardin, Paige Jost and husband Larry of Lubbock, and a sister-in-law Pat Sanders of Smith Point. In addition she leaves her five grandchildren Jace Wiggins, Scarlett Smith, Jaxton Wiggins, Felicity Smith, and Rosaland Smith, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.  Visitation for Dana will be held Tuesday June 12, 2018 from 5-8Pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. A memorial service will be held 1:30PM at the First Baptist Church of Huffman, 25503 FM 2100 Rd, Huffman, TX.,  Wednesday June 13, 2018.
