Message from Sharron Smart & "Red" Smart Family (Melba, Melanie, & Daniel)
January 11, 2018 10:21 PM

Chris Miller has been a friend of my family for my entire life. Our families have been intertwined for many years. He has been my Pastor, Teacher, and Friend. He touched my life many years ago when me and many others sat under his Ministry and Teachings. Although we haven't seen each other in many years, our love for him has never been forgotten. We have enjoyed his friendship he was always there for my family. He will truly be missed, just knowing that we will not see that "sweet smile" again until we meet in Heaven. He touched many lives through the years and will be praying for the Miller Family and Friends for the days ahead. Much Love to you All.

I remember a Chris Miller preaching a revival service at First Baptist Church, Batson, back in 1973 or 1974. If this is him, I just want everyone to know that was the greatest revival service I have ever attended. Almost the entire West Hardin High School was saved during that revival. Many will see heaven because of this man. One of my first loves, Sharron Daniel, was saved in that revival. And it was only a year or two later that a car accident took her life. I will never forget Chris Miller, or how God used Him for a glorious week of true revival in a small, insignificant Southeast Texas town, where the Spirit fell like a tidal wave, and thirty to forty were saved every night. I hope legions of angels took this man straight into the arms of Jesus. I don't know what happened to him after that revival, but I know he affected me in a great way. Very sad to hear of his passing. He had the gift.
