Jack David DeBerry

Jack David DeBerry – age 70 of Raywood passed away Saturday December 22, 2018 at his home with his beloved family by his side. Jack was born in Liberty, Texas September 11, 1948 the son of the late Loyd Cecil DeBerry and Jessie Lucille Vanderpool DeBerry. Jack had a wonderful sense of humor and was sure to give a nickname to everyone in his family. He enjoyed playing his guitar, camping, BBQ and sitting by a campfire. Jack’s main love was spending time with his large family and friends. He worked for many years in the oilfield as a mechanic, last working for Taylor Pipeline. Jack was a Christian man and was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Martin DeBerry, sister-in-law Pamela DeBerry, son-in-law Todd Watson, nephew Donnie DeBerry, and a niece Carrie DeBerry. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of forty-nine years Brenda DeBerry of Raywood, sons Craig DeBerry and his wife Chassity of Devers, Kenneth DeBerry and wife Layna of Houston, daughter Jacquie Riojas and her husband Mark of Liberty, sister Ellen Kibodeaux and her husband Gary of Hardin, brother Lloyd DeBerry and wife Gerlinda of Danbury, Texas. Jack also leaves his seven grandchildren: Shelby DeBerry; Jordan DeBerry; Kaley DeBerry; Zak DeBerry; Jessie Riojas; Brandon Hayat; and Misha Hayat. In addition he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. Visitation for Jack will be held 12PM – 2PM Thursday December 27, 2018 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Funeral Services to be held 2PM Thursday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Smart officiating. Burial to take place in Cooke Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be John Earl Scott, Anthony DeBerry, Francis Foster, Jonah Richard, Colin Bellard, and Reggie Threlkeld. Honorary pallbearers will be Brock Andrepont, Walter Andrepont JR., Shelby DeBerry, and Chad Andrepont, Shawn Meche, and Toby LeJeune.  Condolences and memories can be shared online at www.allisonfuneralservice.com.
