Jimmie Lawrence Spallino Sr. age 76 of Liberty passed away Tuesday January 1, 2019 at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Jimmie was born March 27, 1942 in Independence, LA., the son of the late Albert Spallino Sr. and Annie Ogima Spallino. Jimmie enjoyed watching sports and cooking. No one ever left Jimmie’s house hungry. A true salesman, Jimmie sold cars for a number of years in Hammond, Louisiana and later in life sold insurance. He studied his bible and enjoyed speaking about the bible’s teachings as a full-time Jehovah’s Witness Minister for over twenty years. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers Johnny, Jake, Steve, and Sam Spallino. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of fifty-three years Dorothy Spallino of Liberty, son Jimmie “Oreo” Spallino and his wife Tracie of Hammond, LA., daughter Monica Morrison and husband Jonathan of Liberty, daughter Melissa Harris and her husband Jeremy of Baytown, son Paul Arguello of Liberty, brother Joe Spallino and wife Betty of Crowley, LA., sister Jenny Spallino of Denham Springs, LA., and a brother Albert Spallino and his wife Maggie of New Orleans, LA. In addition, he leaves his five grandchildren Tatum Quiroz, Tabatha Davis, Taylor Christophe, Christopher Morrison, and Lauren Hernandez, one great-grandchild Reece James Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews. All who knew and loved him will sadly miss him. A memorial service for Jimmie will be held 3PM Saturday January 5, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness 3716 Hwy 90 Liberty, Texas.
