John Thomas Faneros, 62, of Liberty, Texas passed away suddenly, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Liberty Dayton Regional Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee to Thomas K. Faneros and Lucille Marie Puckett Faneros.

John was a truly amazing man. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of forty-one years, Debra Faneros. He loved his family and was a very proud husband, father and grandfather. John was a gifted and talented man. He was a sought after carpenter, mechanic, welder, plumber and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. John was a computer guru and made many friendships playing computer games.

John had a good, kind and very giving spirit. He was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. God blessed him with opportunities that showed what a compassionate man he was and they helped his faith grow deeper. Inside his rugged exterior was a very tender hearted and caring man who rejoiced with others and also cried with others. John will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was preceded in death by his father Thomas K. Faneros; mother Lucille Marie Puckett and step-father Vernon (Mickey) Finn, brother Dale Puckett, and father-in-law Henry Frazier. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Debra Faneros; sons Bradley Thomas Faneros and Bobby Alan Faneros; brother Alex Faneros and wife Susan; sister Beverly Deiss; mother-in-law Jeraldine Frazier and two treasured grandchildren, Tray Prentice Faneros and Kylie Ann Faneros. In addition, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with family from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the chapel at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas 77575. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10am at Liberty Church of Christ, 3201 North Main Street Liberty, Texas. A graveside service will immediately follow at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in John’s memory to Sunny Glen Children’s Home or your favorite charity.
