My condolences to all of you. Since the flood, I was searching the internet for Joyce's address and was going to send a check figuring she would know who best needed it in the community so devastated by the flood.
I worked with Joyce in 1978-1979 at Rice. She was a fun boss. She took a chance on me and we did very well together. Much love to you all.

I know thos is late was going thru. Papers of my mom Jackie Floyd and saw Joyces name. So I had to look her up. I knew Joyce as well when my Jackie worked as Joyces secretary at Rice. They were good friends and kept in touch long after we moved to dallas for dad to get a job. I sad to hear Joyce has left us and know my would hate to here it, sadly her health isnt good with deminsia in these last few years things have changed. I will take to her tonight by phone and will let her know one of her friends has passed. So I want to pass on what I know would be my moms heart felt condolences for Joyce and her family and mine/the floyds as well.

I met Joyce at James's funeral. She welcomed me to her home and she and Dixie treated me like a family member. Within a few minutes of talking and laughing with her it was obvious where my friend Brad got his wit, humor and perseverance. Thank you Joyce for the hospitality and love.
I know that Joyce and James are with Jesus now proudly looking down at their outstanding family. Rest assured and with God.
