Tribute

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Kelton Wyatt Graves, age 22 of Moss Hill, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born in Baytown, Texas on April 6, 1999 to parents Christopher Graves and Melissa Grivich.

Kelton was a most beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He had a kind, giving heart and was a true and loyal friend. From an early age, he was mechanically inclined and naturally gifted. He loved working on trucks, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Kelton enjoyed being outside and never missed an opportunity to go hunting with his dad, John Grivich. Kelton was an avid gamer who loved playing video games in his free time. He also liked watching Westerns. Kelton had a sweet tooth for chocolate especially when sharing zero bars with his momma.

Kelton loved and cherished his family more than anything. His Pap and Pawpaw called him, “Buckwheat”, his May May nicknamed him, “My lil my man”, Paw and Maw called him their “K-man”. These terms of endearment meant a lot to him and he continued the tradition when his young nephew began calling him, “Unc.” He was sentimental and cared about people in the purest way. He loved them for who they were and wished the best for everyone. He was truly a delightful, sweet, kind, polite and well-mannered young man. His infectious, beautiful smile would light up every room he entered. People were genuinely happy to see him. The world is a lesser place without him and he will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kelton leaves behind to cherish his memory his mom, Melissa Grivich and dad John; father Chris Graves; sister Jessica Jenkins and husband Brandon; brother Cole Grivich; nephews Grant Marshall Jenkins and Case Grivich; aunt Shellie Loftin (Aunt KK); Maymay Mary Taylor; Pap Tommy Craig; Pawpaw Carlton Loftin and wife Chris; Paw Bubba Graves and Maw Linda; Gaga Don Grivich and Nana Margaret. In addition, he leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members and friends.

“The Lord is Kelton’s shepherd; He shall not want. He made Kelton lie down in green pastures; He led him beside the still waters. The Lord restored his soul; He led him in the paths of the righteousness For the Lord’s name’s sake. Yea, though Kelton walked through the valley of the shadow of death, He will now fear no evil; For the Lord is with him. His rod and His staff, they comfort him. The Lord prepared a table before Kelton, in the presence of his enemies; He anointed Kelton’s head with oil; His cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow him. All the days of his life; And Kelton will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6
