Lola Beth “Sissy” Collins of Rye passed age 66 passed away Wednesday November 7, 2018 at her home. Sissy was born in Rye, Texas August 25, 1952 the daughter of the late Loyd Collins and Carrie Bell Clifton Collins. Sissy enjoyed working, hunting, and fishing. She especially enjoyed a good cup of coffee and was an amazing cook. She liked to watch movies, especially Julia Roberts’s movies, and Dr. Phil. She was a character but always placed family above all else. She attended Hardin High School and last worked at T.J.’s Smoke Shop as a manager. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Thomas Collins and her ex-husband Jimmy Lawson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son T.J. Lawson and his wife Angelina of Rye, sister Jana Cox and her husband Randy of Dayton, a grandson Thomas Lawson JR. and a goddaughter Samijo Gilbert. In addition, she leaves her extended family and friends Jimmy Veach, Doyelle and David Turner, Derick and Meagan Gowdey, Chris and Kayla Collins, Dusten and Taylor Collins, Raymond and Kim Gowdey, Shauna Gilbert, and Kevin and Erica Cooke. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation for Sissy will be held Monday November 12, 2018 from 5-8PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Funeral services to be held 10AM Tuesday November 13, 2018 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Bluewater Cemetery, Livingston.
