Ouida LaVonne (Emaunel) Cauthorn

Ouida LaVonne Cauthorn, age 90 of Liberty, passed away April 4, 2018 at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty.  Ouida was born October 19, 1927 in Romayor, TX daughter of the late William Douglas Emaunel and Ebbie Sophire Collins Emanuel.  Ouida was a beautician for several years and married the late Bill Cauthorn on January 8, 1950 and was married for sixty-one years before Bill’s passing in 2011.  Ouida loved to cook and was very active in the food pantry in Liberty.  She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Liberty where she ministered for a variety of services.  She served as a church member for fifty plus years.

Ouida was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister; Myrhl Turner, and niece; Jade Morris.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons; Kent Cauthorn and wife Carolyn of Garland, TX, Deen Cauthorn of Dallas, TX, sister; Pat Henley of Liberty, grandson; Kyle Cauthorn and wife Miranda and great-granddaughter; Jayden Cauthorn.
