Prestina Moore

Prestina Moore, 36, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away suddenly, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her residence. She was born on March 16, 1982, in Port Arthur, Texas to Preston Moore and the late Debra Ann Semien Moore.

Prestina was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, cousin, niece and friend.  Prestina enjoyed listening to music, dancing and cooking. She was a strong person with an outgoing personality. Her favorite colors were pink, purple and turquoise. Prestina was protective of her family – she loved them fiercely. Prestina’s infectious smile and sweet compassionate soul will forever be remembered by all who knew her. She made people feel special and important. Prestina was a member and praise dancer of Christ Temple Church in Port Arthur, Texas. She was adored by all, and will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Prestina was preceded in death by her loving mother, Debra Ann Moore; brother Edmond Semien and her grandparents on both sides. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters Ariona Shakur Harris, Sanai Ameir Harris; father Preston Moore; brothers Edward Semien and wife Quana, Reston Moore; sisters Sonsherry Thomas and husband Michael, LaTonya Moore; granddaughter Isabella Ann Marie Mickens, Godmother Linda Durio, Godfather Allen Semien, III and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers are Karell Semien, Michael Thomas, James Nichols, Terell Nichols, Damian Viltz, Demarkes Lartique, Donald Lartique and Allen Semien, III. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11am at St. Miles Baptist Church in Ames, Texas with Pastor Dwight Pruitt officiating.
