Robert Marberry

Robert Marberry, 47, of Liberty, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in Devers. Robert was born on October 30, 1971 to Fred Lee Marberry and Amelia Abegzel Marberry.

Robert was well known in Liberty. He worked at the Whataburger in town for over fifteen years. Robert was a very hard worker. His dedication to his job was inspiring to many. Often times, you would see him walking or riding his bike back and forth to work no matter the weather. He loved his job and his Whataburger family immensely.

In addition to working at Whataburger, Robert loved playing video games. He enjoyed hanging out with his family. He liked to go bowling, to gun and car shows and he loved animals, especially his dog, Duke.

Robert will forever be remembered for his warm smile, his strong work ethic and playful spirit. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Amelia Abegzel Marberry and sister Betty Ducote. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Fred Lee Marberry; brothers Fred Marberry, II and wife Elicia, Daniel Marberry and wife Carola Marberry. Nieces and nephews, Asjia Fountain, Shelby Fountain and husband Andre, Crystalin Birdwell, Chad Marberry, Ryan Birdwell, Kaitlyn Morrow and husband Dustin, Heather Roberts and husband Cody, Laura Birdwell, Chisholm Marberry, William Marberry; his Whataburger family and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers are Tom Birdwell, Buddy Birdwell, Andre Fountain, John Coleman, Randy Birdwell, Chad Marberry, Chisholm Marberry and Cody Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Wallace and grand nieces and nephews, Jesse Cole, Brenton Morrow, Garrison Morrow, Hunter Morrow, Thomas Marberry, Lydia Marberry, Brayden Roberts, Cullen Hyde, Oliver Hughes, Maverick Roberts, Braleigh Birdwell and Steely Roberts. Pastor Dick Lintelman of North Main Baptist will be officiating.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5pm – 8pm at North Main Baptist 4709 North Main in Liberty. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10am at North Main Baptist.
