Rosie Estella (Freer) Lowe

Roseen “Rosie” Lowe, age 87, of Liberty, passed away April 3, 2018 at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty.  Rosie was born May 9, 1930 in Easton, Kansas, daughter of the late Earl and Agnes Andermatt Freer.  Rosie married Ralph L. Lowe in 1951 and was married for thirty-three until the passing of Ralph.  During that marriage, Ralph and Rosie owned several park theaters before moving to Liberty in 1965.  Once in Liberty, Rosie was offered a manager’s position with Milentz Theater and worked in that position until the mid-1980’s.  She then moved to Kansas where she worked for the VA Hospital in Leavenworth, KS and retired from the hospital.  In 2014, Rosie moved back to Liberty.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother; Albert M. Greer and sister; Earleen Sue Helmes.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son; Ralph “Sonny” Lowe, grandchildren; Pennie Richardson, Kevin Lowe, Tylene Decuire, six great-grandchildren, and sister; Josephine Finley.
