Sandra Lee Taylor- age 67 of Liberty passed away Monday January 29, 2018 in Humble, Texas. Sandra was born December 18, 1950 in Houston, Texas the daughter of the late Donald Ray Bailey and Annie Lee Trull Bailey. Sandra was a hard worker beginning her career working for Judge Wilburn and the district attorney’s office. She went on to work for more than twenty years for Child Protective Services as a caseworker. She was a devoted mother to her children and loved being a Nana to her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Kenneth Bailey. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of thirty-five years Norman Taylor of Liberty, daughter Monica Mercer and husband Steve of Plano, daughter Krystle Taylor of Liberty, sister Donna Nelson and husband Mark of Mont Belvieu, sister Denise Anderson and husband Gordon of Plano, sister Linda Jones and husband Joseph of Old River. In addition, she leaves her three grandchildren: Blake Mercer; Will Mercer; and Emily Mercer as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
