Valrie D. (Brashier) Rachal

Valrie D. Brashier Rachal age 87 passed away Saturday March 17, 2018 at her home in Liberty, Texas. Valrie was born April 10, 1930 in Mansfield, LA, the daughter of the late Burdette Brashier and Della Butler Brashier. She graduated Valedictorian from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Louisiana. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and angel Christmas ornaments. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her first husband Ed Butcher and her second husband Henry A. Rachal; in addition she was preceded by her sister Elva R. Belsha, and her four brothers: Clarence Brashier; John A. McMellon; Herbert McMellon; and Carl McMellon. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Brenda K. Wise and husband Mark of Coushatta and Bonnie C. Hanchey and husband Don of Liberty. She also leaves six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
