Preston Lynn Gary age 65- of Liberty, passed away Monday July 28, 2014. Preston was born February 11, 1949 the son of the late Aldas Gary and Jean Lebert Gary. Preston worked for over forty-five years at Ryder Leasing as a diesel mechanic. While there he was elected to the Safety Hall of Fame.  He enjoyed working in his yard, watching westerns, and listening to country music. He especially enjoyed his time with his family; he was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts as well as the Girl Scouts. Preston leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of forty-six years Dorothy “Jean” Herrington Gary, daughters Dawn Robinson and Kitty Bales and her husband Brad, a son Brandon Aldas Gary and wife Michelle, brother Arbey Gary, sisters Shirley Diehl and Elverine Daigle. In addition he leaves his grandchildren; Darrell Robinson wife Katheryn; Brett Robinson wife Maggie, Shari Gary husband Jose Aguilar, Tara Bales, Courtney Russell, Alexis Hegdahl husband Austin, Seth Bales and Madison Gary, Great-grandchildren; Khristin Johnston, Jonathan Fregia, Colby Fregia, Riley Johnston, Noah Owens, Christopher Robinson, and Blake Hegdahl, his great-great grandchildren; Maddox Coward, Carson Wagstaff, and Jaxon Johnston. Preston also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation services have been entrusted to Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N.
