I worked with Mr. Preston at Ryder for many, many years and just found out about Mr. Preston's passing- I am so very sorry to hear of this. As "oldtimers" we often laughed and talked about how long we had hung in there. Mr. Preston was always willing to help and usually with a joke to go along with it. It just won't be the same without him. My prayers go out to the family and may God Bless Mr. Preston, and may he rest in peace.

My Daddy was our rock.He worked his entire life for his family. He never let us down.He is still living and always will be,through all the people he touched. Now it's time for him to be taken care of.He sits with Jesus. His work on earth is done.

I will always remember Preston as a very helpful person to the girls and adult members of the Girl Scouts what was once called Liberty Bell Service Unit. Always happy to help us out. He will be missed. My prayers are with all of you, his family.

My Pawpaw was the most incredible man to ever live in Liberty County. I'll always remember eating weenies & Cheerios with him and watching Bonanza as a child. He loved all of us so much, even at our worst. I miss him so much already. We'll see him again some day though. ?

Jean, I remember all the games of Trivial Pursuit we played in our living room, the guys always beating us, of course. I remember our husband tribute when we sang to them IN PUBLIC! ??. Hanging out at your house, him helping me load the truck when we moved away. But mostly I remember how Preston would help anybody with anything, his kind gentle spirit, how much he loved you and his kids. For whatever reason God allowed him to stay with us after the first heart attack. We truly got a miracle. But I guess God needs him now. For now take one moment at a time, hold onto the sweet memories, talk about him, and cherish what you had. I will be checking on you, my dear sweet forever friend. I love you.

My most heartfelt condolences to the Gary family. My most cherished memories of Preston are the love he clearly showed to his loving wife Jean. Jean, you were truly one of the lucky women to know the true love of a good man. It was obvious that he truly cared about you and what made you happy. Will always carry him in my heart .
