So very sorry for your loss, and may God wrap His loving arms around each of you. I only spoke with Mrs. Willoughby on the phone but it was a sweet, loving conversation about her family.. Prayers for each of you.

i loved how Jo would hold my hand as she talked with me. I'll never forget her soft warmth and smile when she always greeted me and her words of encouragement at Noah's Ark MDO. My mentor.

Mrs. Willoughby was an angel on Earth! She was a very special person and friend to me throughout my entire life that I will always treasure. In fact, she is probably the person in my earliest memories that was not a member of my family! Her family and Daddy's family had memories that went back so very many years in Devers. Many times, she would remind me that she remembered the day that Daddy was born in 1927!
Growing up in Treetop Terrace, we always anticipated Mrs. Willoughby's Christmas tree. What would the "theme" be? To us, it was as beautiful as any store window in Downtown Houston.
While we will miss her greatly, the rejoicing as she was reunited with those she loved and who loved her can't help but bring a smile to your face.
I will always hear her sweet voice, feel her hugs and remember her "You know, I Love You" at the end of each phone call or conversation.
She was truly a Christian lady that we can only aspire to be.
Blessings and hugs to all -

Dear Willoughys,
You know Heaven is rejoicing to have such a saint called home! And I know CM is happy to have his companion by his side. And, oh the Heavenly choir has another wonderful voice added to all those other greats who have joined it.
There are no words to express what an impact Jo made on us Harbours. We will always hold her dear in our hearts.
Please know each of you are in our prayers during this sad time, and, remember each of those tears streaming down your cheeks is but a memory of the love shown you by Jo.
Love and hugs to all,
Cathy Harbour and Family

Mrs. Willoughby was the sweetest woman and is a big part of my memories from growing up at First Methodist Church. In later years, I heard both my parents speak of her fondly and frequently. Her passing will leave a big void in Liberty.

Jo will always be my "encourager". For years, after every devotion I wrote for our church newsletter, Jo would call me on the phone and tell me how much it meant to her. She told me one time that she had saved every one of them throughout the many years. She was always kind, always sweet, always generous and loving. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. And every time I visited her, she had her Bible close by and was usually reading it when I arrived. She will be missed by so many people at our church and in our community, but God has a new, wonderful angel in heaven now. I love you so much, Jo, and will miss you. Myra Smith

Mrs. Willoughby was a true Southern Lady. She always greeted me by name, shared a hug, and asked about me, my daughter Mollie, and the rest of my family. I will miss her so. Sincerest prayers to her Family.

What a gracious lady! When we were growing up, she always welcomed us into her home time and time again. It did not matter the time of day or the size of the group. May God bless the extended family.

Jo is the best example of a Christian woman of God that I know. She was always smiling and had a kind word for everyone--usually "I love you." I never heard her utter anything bad about anyone. The world has lost a beautiful lady and it is darker because of it. I am sad because I will miss her. But I know she is being greeted by loved ones and those she has influenced during her life. Jesus has said , "Well done." and showered her with the crowns she's earned. I'm sure she'll lay them back at His feet. I can just hear her beautiful alto voice singing praises to her Lord. It is a glorious day in heaven now that Jo is there. It's just little sadder her on earth without her. I love you Jo!

Words are inadequate to express my respect for this great Lady. She never failed to call me by name, share a hug, and ask about me and mine. A true Southern Lady who so dearly loved her Family, Friends, and God. I'll miss dear Grandmother Willoughby. Sincerest prayers to all the Family.

I am called Mimi because she was my inspiration. She gave me her angel Christmas tree top because she had given her other daughter in laws one. She was truly an Angel here on earth for so many. I remember her smile, her laughter and the precious clasp of her hands and arms as she hugged. Life was good if Mimi was around. I loved this Dear, sweet, loving Lady.
