Presence of an Angel

Went out the house today
And took a look around
The sun didn't shine the same way
It seemed it had a frown

The birds they didn't sing
And the winds lay still
It didn't feel like spring
I felt an empty chill

The moment I heard the news
I knew we had lost a friend
For now we sing the blues

But we know we'll see her again

She had a smile of an Angel
Kind words that soothed your soul
A beautiful person and very graceful
We all hated to see her go
