My sincere condolences to Billy, Linda and entire Barnes family. Please know that God makes no mistakes. 2nd Corinthians:5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and present with the Lord. Glen will truly be missed, especially his megawatt smile. I pray that God gives the family peace and comfort during this difficult period of grief. Take care and God Bless!

Glen was the best friend a little 4 year old girl could have on Missouri St. Although he was a few years older, he loved me just the same and I loved him. I never saw him much after that time, but he forever made an imprint on my heart. I cherish my memories of Glen. And oh that smile, that BEAUTIFUL smile!

I truly lost a brother. He always made me laugh and gave such joy. The Angels are so blessed. I know he will be shining in their choir now. I will never forget the opossums we caught behind Shield Pest control and named them Glenn and Dale. He shared church, school activities, my first Facebook friend 7 yrs. Ago today, and I am truly hoping friends and family go to you tube to Dancing in the Sky. I know he truly is.

The idea of Glen not being around to entertain us on Facebook is very sad. He always made me laugh. Most of my memories of him were of him cracking jokes or doing something goofy. I think the most vivid is him dressed up for something that involved the Choir doing Monty Python songs, and Glen, of course, was right in the middle of it all!

We were best friends the very first day we met & I remember it just like it was yesterday. I never got introduced to your mom but you always promised me. You lived a full life with all the stories you told me. I haven't done nearly half of what you've ecomplished. Now you are at piece & we will meet again one day, as will your family. Love Ya Glen

My heart goes out to the family & many friends of Glen, & he sure had a lot of friends in his lifetime. He was one of the sweetest persons I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Nobody could smile the way he could! And he always had one of those & and a hug for you every time you saw him. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Just know he was truly loved by any & all that knew him. God be with you. 🙏🏻💔

I have moved to NE Texas, thus I have not been in Houston a lot lately, but I truly liked him a lot. He was always funny and a good friend. He will be missed. When I think of Glen I think of our younger days in Liberty - our group of misfits. We could entertain ourselves for hours doing the simplest of things. We were so silly and we had so much fun. Riding around, singing, making stupid noises, telling scary stories, eating pizza, being totally obnoxious and laughing until our stomachs hurt... and Glen could laugh like no other. He's alive in our memories.
